APH: no YOU lost the remote

I noticed a lot of people recently were uploading Ireland OCs. I was pretty dissatisfied with all of them. So I figured, BANDWAGON!!! and jumped on it.

The larger one on the right with a slight stubble is Scotland. The skinny guy on the right with a fuckload* of freckles is Ireland. Their human names at the moment are Barclay and Aiden (technically Berkeley [anglicized] and Aodhàn [Irish-ized], but I prefer typing out Barclay and Aiden) . They're going back and forth between being brothers, fraternal twins, lovers, and other things. I'm not even sure if they know what they are, except perhaps inseparable. That's one thing they know that they are.
Edit: so it turns out you can't really see Ireland's freckles. Just take my word for it that they're there, all over him.

They've been in my head for a while. A long while. Like, really. I wrote fucking fanfiction involving them. There's also a Wales and N. Ireland running around my head named Wally/Llewellyn and Mary. I might post something for them one day...

They strike me as the sort of guys who hang out at each other's house every other weekend. They're also the guys who lose the remote to the TV if it's ever where it's exactly supposed to be (on top of the TV where it can always be found) and argue over who it was who 'lost' it rather than looking for it. Not because they're too lazy to look for it, but because they prefer to spend time taking jabs at each other and finding excuses to go out than watching TV.

Barclay is a cat person. That is why there is a cat in the picture. And that's supposed to be a tapestry on the back wall. I feel like most nations would have a mix of very old things as well as modern appliances just lying around the house. Which is also why there's a shield mounted on the wall, a sword and a viking helmet on the bookshelf, alongside the psychedelic 70s lamp. Because.

But uh. Yeah. My contribution to the bandwagon!!
